Regional Services Manager

Join our growing social services team in South Hampton Roads! This newly developed position oversees the development and ongoing operations of our supportive services for formerly homeless single adults residing in our new permanent supportive housing sites in Norfolk and Virginia Beach. The Gosnold Apartments in Norfolk received the Governor’s Award for Best Housing Development in 2007. Our new development, the Cloverleaf Apartments, opens in Fall 2008.

The successful candidate will have an advanced level of professional knowledge, skills, and experience including:

  • At least five years of clinical treatment and rehabilitation experience with individuals with serious mental illness and/or substance abuse disorders.
  • Advanced understanding and application of state-of-the-art interventions and service delivery concepts for homeless individuals including permanent supportive housing, peer support, and recovery.
  • Experience with program development, evaluation, and administration, including staff supervision.
  • Knowledge of community resources for low income and disabled individuals.
  • Experience forming community partnerships and advocating for consumer needs at the individual and systems levels.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with property management to facilitate a community environment that supports program goals.

Master’s degree in human services required. Licensed or license-eligible in Virginia (LMHP) strongly preferred. Competitive salary, commensurate with experience.
